I’m running on a little over 2 hours of sleep. I just got home from work. I’m really hungry and I’m hopped up on 2 shots of espresso (so I could work like mad and do everyone else’s work because I’m awesome and feel like a bad worker if I don’t overachieve) and a little bit of sugar. I want to go run on the treadmill at the lame gym at my complex (there’s a few other really terrible machines) but I’m too tired and hungry but I am also like mentally twitchy ja feeel me? Maybe I’ll have a banana and go run and then shower and knock out.
Tomorrow is my first day off (from both jobs) in 2 weeks and then my next day off is a week later and I’m going to try to intensely meal plan for the week because this was theeee worst food week for me and I’m so hungry even after a massive burrito because my body is like feeeed me. If I don’t plan my foods and keep it simple and easy, I don’t have time for a nice proper meal and I end up super hungry because I won’t eat the crap that is always around me (for the most part). I’m gonna try to make some veggie roll things and maybe a bean and rice bowl andddd just some filling, calorie dense, protein/iron filled foods.
What are the differences between figs and dates? I always read about dates but have never seen them at my local health store. Though we have figs, I guess dried, and they’re almost $10 for a small tin. I’m afraid to buy them and dislike them. Also I’ve never seen tahini either. And I’m too busy (and when I’m free I’m too lazy or forget) to look up info about tahini or what it is. I’m not sure they sell it here either but I want to try it since I am constantly seeing posts about it. Anyone wanna help a sista out reply or message meeee!
I need more filling foods that are really quick and easy to eat. I need more whole almonds and other nuts as well, definitely. My schedule is getting really busy again and I don’t have time to eat a lot and it worries me a lot. No time to cook, no time to sleep even. Ahh.
I was eating a vegan chickn’ parm wrap on my lunch break and I have my green-brown smoothie and someone asked what was in it. I thought they meant my wrap so I said “marinara sauce” and everyone was like “REALLY?” It was funny. Someone showed me how to open a banana from the butt too wow. I never knew there was a way besides peeling the top.
