Putting aside the fact that I do not believe in “diets” or any temporary “fix” for weight loss… I don’t understand why people think they’re supposed to feel hungry and deprived while trying to achieve physical change. Change your mentality, and you will change in all ways. Mindful eating is so important. If you’re actually hungry at 1am, eat! If you want a cookie? Hell, have 3! Feed your soul or it will not be happy. Sure, there are healthier alternatives to more junky foods, but it’s up to you which one you choose to eat and whichever it is, it’s okay. Eat a bowl of ice cream that fits yourself (whether it’s dairy or vegan), or make your own banana ice cream. Either way, make sure what you are doing is making you happy and ask yourself what you can do to achieve your goals and keep yourself physically and mentally happy at the same time. That is when you will change.
